Summary/Abstract: In this article, I do not provide the well-known information about Nagy Imre’s and János Kádár’s family, childhood, private life, political career, historical role, major honours, works, etc. Here, I focus primarily on how the Arab media (press, TV channels, websites) and official circles (diplomats and politicians) portrayed these two opposing Hungarian personalities. In this piece, I used the highly confidential archival reports of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry (Embassy of Egypt in Budapest), which can be found in the Egyptian National Archives, concerning the Hungarian Revolution and Suez Crisis of 1956, as well as the relevant Arab print sources and Internet websites.
