Summary/Abstract: The contemporary Romanian playwright-director and theatre director Gianina Cărbunariu’s first drama volume that is translated into Hungarian entitled Common People was published in 2020 by the UArtPress. In the volume edited by Kinga Boros one can read consecutively mady-baby.edu and Tiger translated by Réka Csűrös, and is followed by plays entitled Solitarity, Eladó / For Sale and Common People translated by Éva Patkó. The review written with a poetic language emphasizes the social commitment and the caricaturing feature of the „tigerstep” plays and also mentions how the disconcerting void is present in them.
