About the Artists’ Talk

Summary/Abstract: In her review, Mónika Rancz approaches Romanian playwright and director Gianina Cărbunariu’s Artists Talk from the perspective of scenes with similar outcomes. Through the six situations of public talks delivered by creators, Cărbunariu discusses the problem of the social responsibility of artists, staging their dysfunctionalities and hypocrisy with irony and criticism, but without any judgment.
