Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with possibilities of criminalistic investigation and sanction of hate crimes based on settled case law. The paper describes the possibilities of identification and punishment of this specific crime in the Czech Republic. The paper mentions in particular the case-law, which are by nature of the case possible for general use by law enforcement authorities. It should be noted that there is a coordinated and systematic approach to investigating this specific crime. The article is a brief comparison of Czech and Slovak case law in this area.
