Summary/Abstract: The global security environment transformation from bipolarism into unipolarism and then into multipolarism resulted in the reaffirmation tendencies of the global/regional actors and in the replacement of cooperation with competition. In this context, that of reaffirmation as an undisputed global actor, the „Putinist” ideology appeared as a natural emanation of a continuing of Russia’s identity-imperialist policy. The carefully planned construction of the leader of a global actor, needed for an extended ideology projection, meant not only finding and „polishing” the right person, but also meant modelling the internal collective mind into accepting and assuming the leader’s successes and/or failures. The Putinist ideology, as a model of external projection of a whole complex of values, of doctrinal concepts and of strategic objectives, is promoted as an „ideology of the future”. Its political-military functions are exported and applied more or less, on strategic directions of interest, with visible results, in particular, in the proxy area of the Russian Federation, in the East and in Africa, but also in Europa or across the Atlantic.
