Summary/Abstract: The literature review analyses 17 diploma theses which focus on the educational possibilities of using the Snoezelen concept in children and pupils with moderate, severe, and profound intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, andpupilswithhearingimpairment. Snoezelenis thenamegiventoapproaches, strategies, and special pedagogical support, implemented through various methods, techniques, and means to activate development, stimulate interest, motivate cognition, and mediate personal experience in people of different ages, but especially in children and pupils with multiple isabilities of different aetiology or causality. The results of the literature review clearly demonstrate the sustainability and high level of use of the Snoezelen concept in the education of pupils with severe disabilities in special schools, under the guidance of fully competent special educators during the period of compulsory education.
