Conspiracy theories in organisational context

Summary/Abstract: People's belief in the existence of conspiracies, in order to explain some social or political events is widespread. When such conspiracy theories are widespread within an organization it affects the professional activity and, implicitly, the effectiveness of the organization. Quite a few things are known about the effects of conspiracy theory in organization. In this paper we started from the hypothesis according to which the belief in the existence of conspiracies leads to decrease of the organizational identity of the employees, which, determines, decreasing, in the same time, the quality of work.
