Summary/Abstract: Starting from the examination of the scholarly literature, this study proposes an analysis of the political program of the party called the Alliance for the Union of Romanians, within the conceptual framework of fascism. Based on a descriptive research design, the paper identifies a series of defining elements of fascist ideology and follows the way of reflecting them in the party’s programmatic document. The analysis reflects the existence of convergence areas between AUR’s political program and the ideology of the extreme right, which marks the return of the radical right to Parliament and into the mainstream of romanian politics.
