Summary/Abstract: In the context of searching for solution of the military-political conflict at Donbas region and the future reconciliation, it is extremely important to consider the psychological aspect of it. The article summarizes the results of 5 social-psychological research projects conducted during 2015-2018: the residents of Donbas (including temporarily occupied territories) and other regions were surveyed. The research reveals the psychological content of Ukrainian attitudes toward the war at Donbas and Donbas residents, manifests the problematic aspects of Donbas people’s consciousness, finds out the features of political blaming, identifies attitudes of the population of the east and west Ukraine to the events at Donbas as the basis for future mutual understanding.
