Summary/Abstract: The subject of this article is to determine whether members of the European Parliament are governed by European or national law. Some electoral aspects related to the election of members of the European Parliament, issues related to the duration of the andate to the European Parliament and controversy over the acquisition of vacant seats to the EP after Brexit will also be presented.
