Summary/Abstract: The subject of this article will be to present the legal nature of the immunity of a Member of the European Parliament, to point out that it has a mixed (hybrid) character due to the numerous reports to the national law-related, in particular, to the lifting of immunity. There will also be examples of situations that raised some controversy and were the subject of speeches by the European Parliament or even decisions of the Court of Justice of the European Union (the case of Junqueras Vies).
