Summary/Abstract: Today, it is necessary to include available digital tools in the business communication mix. Slovak book publishers like to communicate with current or potential target group via social networks. A popular choice is Facebook. Facebook is an accessible social network where a marketing campaign can be effective with a small budget. Some businesses make maximum use of all of its capabilities, others do not. In this paper we analyze company accounts of Slovak publishers on Facebook. We will include a sample of selected small, medium and large publishers, which we will compare with each other. The condition is that they publish Slovak literature or Slovak translation literature, in 2019 they published at least one book and have an active corporate Facebook page. The aim of the paper based on the analysis is to recommend steps into practice that will improve the situation and marketing communication of businesses on the Facebook social network.
