Many regulations have come into rules that temporarily restrict the movement of persons or restrict the business of many small or large companies. The world has changed and the consequences will be felt for a very long time. The spread of the coronavirus and COVID-19 disease to the size of the global pandemic has affected all sectors of our daily lives. And it also hit the media. On the one hand, they are more read, listened and watched, but on the other hand, they are drastically decreasing the volume of advertisers and thus the advertising revenue. The corona crisis is also threatening the radio market. First, small local and regional radios may be affected by all measures and the associated drop in advertising. The contribution will show the reader the current situation on the Slovak Radio market and possible prognosis for the future.
