Summary/Abstract: The analysis shows that current German-Czech dictionaries mostly incline to formalism in terms of treatment of morphologically related lexemes. The author deals with the question, which of the ways of ordering entries (the strict alphabetical ordering, niching or nesting) will be more advantageous to the supposed addressee group of the printed version of the new Large German-Czech Academic Dictionary as well. It seems that a strictly alphabetically arranged dictionary will better meet the needs of its target users than dictionaries with other types of arrangement. Therefore, the issue of how morphologically related lexems can be linked in dictionaries with a strictly alphabetical macrostructure is addressed here.
