Summary/Abstract: The Presidency of Religious Affairs has undertaken a new mission within the scope of the “4-6 Age Religious Education Project” in the 2013-2014 academic year and differentiated its target audience with Qur’an courses for the 4-6 age group. It has been observed that in the program of the 4-6 age group Qur’an courses, various activities, which are student-centered, that the student can learn by doing and living, are implemented according to the activity-based teaching method. This study, which aims to examine the applications in the teaching books of the 4-6 age group Qur’an courses, was conducted according to the mixed research design. Some of the results obtained in the study are as follows: It has been observed that the activities and materials for learning from the Qur’an are not sufficient, the primary school preparatory practices are insufficient, the activities are repetitive, and the students’ age levels are neglected, and the teachers have difficulty in producing alternative activities.
