Evaluation of the efficiency of teaching future informatics teachers in computer networks based on modeling of networks.

Summary/Abstract: When organizing training in computer networks on real equipment, educational institutions face organizational, technical and material difficulties. Using network modeling, the above difficulties can be avoided in teaching future informatics teachers about computer networks. The aim of the research was to prove the effectiveness of teaching future informatics teachers to computer networks based on network modeling. The method of theoretical analysis is carried out in order to comprehensively study the state of the problem under consideration. A pedagogical experiment has been conducted for evaluating the efficiency of teaching computer networks based on modeling. The study has been organized in experimental and control groups. Mathematical statistics were used for the analysis. In the course of the study, it was found that the development and implementation of the proposed teaching methodology provides an opportunity for full and high-quality training of future informatics teachers in the field of computer networks, which allows them to solve professional problems in the design, maintenance, configuration and administration of computer networks.
