Summary/Abstract: The article proposes a discussion from the point of view of logic about the meaning of the term “horrible” and the difficulties of defining it, about its use in sentences, in descriptions of situations, in explanations or inferences to the best explanation, about its use in correct (common or moral) argumentation and especially, given its specificity of this term loaded with a strong emotional content, about its use in incorrect argumentation.
