Summary/Abstract: The Islamic Community in Zenica manages important examples of cultural heritage whose significance goes beyond both the institutions themselves and the local community itself. This claim is best supported by the fact that out of a total of 9 national monuments located in the Zenica area, one third are under the administration of the Islamic Community. Also, the existence of several buildings and locations of local significance has been established, and the practice of visiting the Lastavica site, which is a valuable manifestation of intangible cultural heritage, is particularly interesting.
