Summary/Abstract: This paper addresses the issue of selected behavioural problems connected with attitudes of secondary school students in the light of the Bronfenbrenner’s bioecological model of human development (PPCT). The empirical research was carried out among 931 students (including 47.5% girls) of the average age of 18.69 from secondary schools in the city of Kara in Togo. The research focused on the students’ specific cultural context and problems experienced at school, which may, in a synergistic effect, lead to the emergence and deepening of school discomfort. The study of school discomfort should always take into account the cultural, personal and historical context of students. This is extremely important for the validity of scientific research and its social relevance.
