Summary/Abstract: The unprecedented surge of technology in addition to the overwhelming power of electronic media, accompanied by a wide array of means providing for distant learning and online communication, the ongoing digital revolution heralding a new stage of human evolution where scientific development cannot overtake or replace more traditional notions of culture. Therefore, in the current context of numberless and highly luring temptations presented by the ubiquitous and increasingly available means and methods to distract the individual`s mind from the multiple daily chores, our main aim is to give prominence and bring to the forefront the power of culture to connect individuals worldwide, to provide stability, coherence, continuity and vitality to humankind throughout the waves of history. Culture is a unique asset in terms of its unparalleled resilience over historical turmoil, an invaluable resource for the survival of a nation and promoting its identity worldwide, enabled by cultural and public diplomacy.
