Summary/Abstract: This article is an analysis of the foreign policy of the new German government as put in the Coalition agreement of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), Green Party and Liberal Party (FDP). The Coalition agreement is compared with the chapters dealing with the foreign policy from the election programmes of the coalition partners. The article focuses on the following issues from the Coalition agreement: Future of the EU, Foreign and Security Policy of EU, importance of multilateralism, bilateral and regional relations with USA, Russia, China, Turkey, and the Western Balkans.
