Cooperation of enterprises with high schools within the scope of innovation

Summary/Abstract: The article presents general tendencies in the area of cooperation of enterprises with high schools within the scope of innovation. The analysis is based on empirical study conducted among 500 small and medium-sized enterprises located in Mazowsze region. The results of the empirical study show that only 25% of enterprises cooperate with high schools. It is also observed that medium-sized companies cooperate more on innovation process and spend more money on research and development. It is important to notice that there are a lot of barriers of cooperation of enterprises with high schools within the scope of innovation.
