Summary/Abstract: Acquiring pedagogical mastery during the course of studies by candidates for teachers is an extremely import antelement of professionalism. Today, in the digital age, when the synergy of modern technologies with education has be come a reality, it is important to prepare students - future teachers - touse digital technologies in the educational process. The refore, students of pedagogical universities are equipped with knowledge and skill saimed at preparing them to perform the tasks of an interactive class teacher who is competent to use information and communication technologies in education. The article presents there sults of research concerning the opinions of students of the teaching faculty of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce and the University of Rzeszów on their readiness touse information and communication technologies in the irfuture professional work. The research carried out in various academic centres made it possible to compare the opinions of two groups of students, and thusto take a broaderlook at the analysedissue.
