Summary/Abstract: Due to its geopolitical position, Iran acts as a bridge between Turkestan, Middle East and Europe. In this respect, this geography, which is called Iran today, has been used as the passageway of the Turks who migrated from Turkestan to the west for centuries. The idea of uniting all ethnicities as a single nation under the umbrella of “Iranianism” and the “Shiite interpretation of Islam” and “Persianism” with the 1979 Islamic Revolution, implemented by the Iranian state between 1925-1979 has done. Today, the nationalist movements among the Turks increasingly continue.
