Summary/Abstract: The Orthographic, Orthoepic and Morphological Dictionary of the Romanian Language (DOOM 3), the third edition, is a work long awaited by both the specialized and general public. This article aims to highlight the most important changes made from a normative point of view compared to the second edition of the Dictionary. The changes made are qualitative and quantitative and do not represent a spelling reform. In addition to the newly introduced words, another aspect different from the old Dictionary (DOOM2) that must be specified is related to the completion of the paradigm for certain words and to the addition of flexion information to over 6.500 verbs.
