This section opens with an introductory essay by Jasmina Lukić, who lectures at the Department of Gender Studies of the Central European University in Budapest. She is followed by a number of women literary historians and critics from the region as a whole who address the same topic; of these we single out: Medea’s Mediations, by the Croatian author Lada Čale Feldman.
