Summary/Abstract: The success of public library services on the informational market depends on the library’s presence in the virtual space, more precisely, its visibility on web network. Thus, library must take most advantages of the Internet, not only by using the facilities it offers, but also by creating its own web-site. The creation of a web-site must respect some professional and welldefined rules; if it is well-designed, according to the beneficiars needs, it will increase the library’s prestige, because it is one of the best ways of promoting services.
