METHODYIA ANDONOV CHENTO´S ACTIVITY FOR THE MACEDOINIAN IDENTITY IN THE PERIOD BETWEEN THE TWO WORLD WARS

Summary/Abstract: The historical characters have always had an important role in the nacional history given the time period and the manner of their acting, and the synthesis in the analysis of the historical entities. This can be applied to the oldest as well as the latest Macedonian history dealing with these characters. Chento made efforts to achive the economic, political and national independence of his people, in the interwar period. According to the documents, Methoodiya Andonov Chento was president in his efforts to fulfill the historical goals for cultural, economic, social and nacional liberation and establishment of sovereign national state, equal with the rest of the Balkan states. Chento wes determined to realize these goals and he made no compromises in the process. He was a determined fighter, ready to face the biggest obstacles on the road fulfillment of the final goal.
