Summary/Abstract: For us, Life in Christ begins here, on earth. It is here that it grows and it is also here that we evolve spiritually. But perfection is not necessarily connected to our present existence for it will be fully accomplished during our next life. None of us can work the good without the help received from Him who is absolute Goodness. The Lord does more than merely help us. He comes to dwell within our souls. Therefore, for the Christians, life in Christ starts here, on earth, since it is here that our souls become so attached to God that they achieve the union to God in an extraordinary way. The initiative belongs to Him and the results depend on our efforts and good will, on our openness to the works of the divine grace and on our care not to conceal the talent we received as a gift. Through the Holy Mysteries, so much greatness is bestowed upon the human nature that it comes to partake of the divine glory and being. This happens because God wants to make us partake of as much goodness as possible. This is the work of His divine Economy which represents the good care God has always shown for the humankind.
