Summary/Abstract: This work is a study of the evolution of small and medium enterprises in Maramureş County. For the 2000-2007 period several aspects were studied: the number of small and medium enterprises (in absolute and relative values), their distribution according to their financial results and domain of activity and finally the situation of new enterprise enrolments in Maramureş County.
