Summary/Abstract: The presented article, is covering the current state affairs, connected to document and especially real estate document fraud counteraction. It reflects onsome administrative and regulatory changes in connection to the procedures for purchase and sale of real estate, made after the introduction of changes to Article 212, paragraph 1 of the Penal Code (PC) from 2010, which introduced the incrimination of receving another person's real estate, without having the needed legal basis. Attention is turned to the problems that have arisen in their application and the peculiarities of counteracting these frauds
