Police response against criminal acts of gambling in the context of the amendments to the gambling act

Summary/Abstract: The presented article examines amendments made to the Gambling Act and their relation to the police response to criminal gambling. Those related to the organizers of gambling games and the control of gambling activity are successively commented on. Attention has also been paid to the changes related to the participants in gambling games and the innovations adopted by them. The registers kept by the gambling control authorities are presented. At the end, the duty of cooperation introduced by the changes in the context of police counteraction to criminal gambling is commented on.
