Summary/Abstract: Solving the absorbtion problems of communitarian financial assistance, reflected especially by Structural and Cohesion Funds, should represent the main concern of policy – makers both from the perspective of exploring the possibilities of achieving real and nominal convergence with European model and from the need of counteracting the impact of international financial crisis over Romanian economy.
