Limiting the load on the musculoskeletal system by using selected devices supporting the movement of loads

Summary/Abstract: By using appropriate lifting and carrying devices, the load on the musculoskeletal system can be significantly reduced. This is important because every year there are more and more employees over 55 who have less muscle strength compared to younger people, and employers have to adapt the working conditions of older people to their psychophysical capabilities. The article presents selected devices supporting lifting and carrying loads and the principles of their selection, taking into account the individual needs and capabilities of employees.
