Summary/Abstract: Claudiu Isopescu has always been concerned about reaffirming the latinity of the Romanian language and people, promoting Romanian culture and heritage abroad, Romanian identity elements, emfatizing the Italian influences in Romanian culture or the impressions of Italian travelers for our village. The professor born in Bucovina spared no effort and delays or inconveniences in making our country and our culture known abroad, both through the lessons held for 30 years in the Romanian university, as well as the studies or the approximately 170 articles written between on 1925-1956. Untitled ambassador of Romanian culture to Italy through all his initiatives and actions, the professor from Bucovina considerably enlarged the sphere of diplomatic and cultural relations between Romania and Italy. He greatly contributed to the understanding and spiritual closeness of the two peoples, who, although distant from each other, retained many and indestructible affinities.
