Summary/Abstract: Isopescuʼs activity fits perfectly in the sphere of Romanian-Italian cultural diplomacy, the professor got, for all these efforts, qualifications such as: messenger of Romanian spirituality (D. Vatamaniuc), supporter of an indissoluble friendship (George Lăzărescu), ambassador of Romanian culture, pioneer of Romanian culture in Italy (Tudor Şoimaru), apostle of our culture (Ion Bianu). He promoted the role of Romanian writers traveling to Italy and of the Italian cultural influence in Romania, under different cultural registers, and contributed concretely to the development of the Romanian bibliography by collecting documents on Romania, documents attesting the Latinity of the Romanian language and people, revealing the connection between Christianity and Latinity and their influence on the psychology of our people. He further demonstrated and affirmed linguistic and cultural analogies, relations of Romanian literature with the literatures of Europe and the world, highlighting the impact that our culture had on those lands and publishing new texts and bibliographical sources or the names of lesser known personalities, therefore, Claudiu Isopescu has earned a place of honor in the gallery of Romanian people of culture. This article aims to present an exhaustive synoptic framework of studies conducted by Claudiu Isopescu with a brief presentation of each researched study and citation reported in a personal translation in order to facilitate the knowledge of the untitled ambassador's tribute to the promotion of Romanian-Italian cultural relations at the beginning of the twentieth century.
