Summary/Abstract: The Church-State relationship is defined by the historical and cultural religious specifics of each community or nation. This aspect is an intrinsic element related to each national configuration as well as to the cultural and socio-political particularities of a society. Religious freedom is a fundamental element of democracy as well as the basic component in Church-State relations, the issue of religious pluralism being viewed very carefully in every society in which democracy operates.
