Summary/Abstract: The development achieved in the formal or non-formal education process is a lifelong preparation. It includes the concepts of growth, maturation and readiness. The readiness, which is the subject of the research, is; It means that there are some pre-qualifications both in order to be able to do a job and to mature. Other factors affecting the aforementioned know-how; maturation, ability, learning, interest, motivation, and judgment. According to the results of this research, the students who come to the first year of the geography department are not ready for university geography education, as they do not have sufficient geographical knowledge infrastructure-readiness level. Purpose of the research; The aim is to draw attention to the "life studies" lessons taught in secondary school and the results of high school geography education, which are reflected in the university. It is to contribute to the situation, which can be summarized as "Turkey's Teacher-Student Training Dilemma" and the chaotic consequences of which we live as a nation, as soon as possible.
