Summary/Abstract: This paper work was created in the desire to bring some historical facts and material evidence, to the public, that indicates existence of remains of Roman road nearby village of Pauc. Scientific literature which research roads of Roman Empire in Bosnia and Herzegovina, does not give any informations about road infrastructures of that period in the area of local community Tuholj (therefore also wider area of Pauc settlement). Therefore, indications of possible direction of the Roman road from Breza to Vares and further to the northeast Bosnia, given in the scientific research by Esad Pasalic and Ivo Bojanovski, as wellas the work of Rusmir Djedovic, some historically-geographical research of Krivaja, in wich it described wide net of the roads that are connecting area of central Bosnia to the area of north and northeast Bosnia, are of great importance. The time of construction of some of these roads dates back to the period of prehistory and antique. Exploring of stone-paved road nearby village of Pauc and properly projecting of the whole section of the road, that was once mostly visible(popularly known as the Road of Maria Theresa) as well as presenting some toponyms of this area, could confirm these assumptions and contribute to illuminating the Roman road through this area.
