Summary/Abstract: Searching for numerous archival sources, but also relevant literature, we spontaneously enter into originality, which unequivocally indicates the fact that today's Taslidzici are of Sandzak roots. They, as history teaches us, have a centuries-old tradition. It was actually a space - Sandzak on the border of the Worlds, but also a space at the gates of peoples different in civilization, tradition, customs, religion and culture at the same time. It is characteristic that the Ottomans, from the first years of their rule, gave Pljevlja a special name, calling them Taslidza. It is named after the nearby stone hills that surrounded the earlier medieval square. This is, therefore, equated with the word Taslidza, which in translation in the Turkish-Ottoman language has the meaning of a stone, or stone surface (square).A number of ancestors who lived in the Ottoman Empire until its collapse sought ways to cope with the circumstances. Everything lasted until the time of the arrival of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1878. For Bosniaks / Muslims, it meant a completely new position in life, but also for the past. True, it is difficult to understand. The offshoots of today's Taslidzics were scattered in several directions: Turkey, Syria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and elsewhere. However, history has repeated itself, so new generations have continued on this path - some remain in Herzegovina (Ljubuski-Mostar), others go further to Bosanska Posavina (Gradacac), and then to some other areas, such as Croatia, Osijek, Baranja, Banat, and further, Syria, Turkey, America, Canada, Norway, Italy, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Qatar. And because of all this, one can't be confused, but also can't wander with thoughts either, because the seekers of the past sometimes take slightly strange paths. And that’s why history is for those who know how to listen!
