CONTRIBUTIONS OF ROMANIAN RESEARCHERS IN THE FIELD OF BIOLOGY, WORLDLY RECOGNIZED

Summary/Abstract: In the second half of the 19th century, many young Romanians went to Western Europe, especially to Germany and France, where they attended university or, after graduating from Romanian universities, were present at prestigious European universities for specialization. It is especially important to remember and evoke whenever possible the great Romanian forerunners who made important contributions of knowledge, inscribing in gold letters their name in the history of Romanian science and world science.
