Summary/Abstract: Although the life and creation of Anfisa Fiodorova (1953-2000) were interrupted too early, the composer left a visible imprint in the local compositional art, materialized through original creations of a certain artistic value covering various musical genres. Unfortunately, the legacy remains very little known so far to both the public and professional musicians, waiting to be discovered and promoted at its fair value. This article concerns the Sonata for flute and piano (1980), one of the few samples of this kind signed by local authors that, in order to fully capitalize on the entire repertoire of sonatas for flute and piano, must be researched as soon as possible.
