Summary/Abstract: This article aims to identify the elements of the characteristics of e-government in the sectoral public policies at the local level, namely the educational public policies and how these features are or may be determined by the identity of the beneficiaries of public services. The article is based on a quantitative analysis of the institutional system of the local public sector: the educational one - namely "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" High School from Iaşi - based on questionnaires, trying to identify how the items of e-government become active at this level, and how the socio-demographic characteristics of users of these services determines the preference, the degree of the use of them in an era of new technologies and information technology.
