Summary/Abstract: Discovering and documenting the crime is a very complex activity of the competent authorities of detection and prosecution. In the determination of reasonable suspicion existence, the initiative, inventiveness and effectiveness of police authorities is especially expressed, who independently or in cooperation with other structures of society / state initiate an investigation. Accountability of Public Prosecutions is reflected in the proper, professional and official assessment of suspicion for conducting an investigation, which has the task to confirm the existence of reasonable suspicion and to ensure the capacity of reasonable suspicion until the completion of the investigation. In the context of the current Code of Criminal Proceedings, where police and prosecutors act as a single investigation unit (constitution), with the established jurisdiction, it is essential that both subject of investigations comply with the rules of Criminal Justice and the rules of Code of Criminal Proceedings.
