Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to show how West African literature testifies effects of colonialism and neocolonialism There by we will analyse novel God’s Bits of Wood (1960) written by Ousmane Sembène and The Beautyful Ones Are Not Yet Born (1968) written by Ayi Kwei Armah. The paper is describing the why and the how nationalism is changed regarding disappointment caused by failure of economics.
