Summary/Abstract: This paper is focused on the possibilities, teaching realization and success of the educational task in educational practice, and the use of teaching methods from the perspective of primary and secondary school teachers and is divided into 2 parts. The first part describes the role of teachers, preparing students, planning educational tasks and the correct choice and effectiveness of teaching methods in the process of learning and teaching. The second part of the paper presents the statistical processing of data obtained by the survey questionnaire. The aim of the research is to examine the use of teaching methods for successful teaching, to examine the opinions of teachers on their ability to apply different forms of teaching methods in educational practice, acquired through formal, non-formal and / or informal education, and to identify obstacles to teachers’ use of teaching method and examine the opinion of teachers on the possibilities of overcoming these barriers. The conclusion of this paper is that the quality application of teaching methods affects the quality of teaching and the successful realization of the educational task.
