Summary/Abstract: The article tries to underline the features of the hearing training for the children with cochlear implant, focusing on the need to adapt and to select the used linguistic material accordingly to the Romanian language features, to every child's need. We use an Italian linguistic material in order to emphasize the criteria we have to be aware while selecting a linguistic material and then we discuss several Romanian linguistic selected samples in order to be used in the hearing training of the children with cochlear implant underlying their utility.
