Summary/Abstract: The paper emphasizes key role of a teacher in the context of school success of a student with ADHD, not only in terms of selection and implementation of appropriate interventions and effective strategies, but also in a connection with the knowledge and skills of educators to educate this group ofstudents. Using research analyzes, we found out in which area of ADHD teachers show the lowest levelof knowledge. This helped us to identify specific topics of in-service teacher education. We also focused on the specification of the relationship between the knowledge of ADHD and the teacher‘s attitude toADHD from the perspective of foreign and Czech experts.
