Summary/Abstract: The main objective of the study was to investigate the prevalence of ADHD and behavioural disorders of children of primary school age. The sample consisted of 500 primary school children from the Tuzla Canton, Bosnia and Herzegovina. ADHD was examined using the Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Test (ADHDT) (Gillian, 1996), while the presence of behavioural disorders was examined using the Achenbach System of Empirically Based Assessment-ASEBA (Achenbach and Rescorla, 2001). The results of the study showed that 10.3% of primary school age children have ADHD or belong to the risk group/category. In children with and without ADHD, the presences of behavioural disorders, as well as differences in relation to age and gender have not been established.
