Use-wear analysis on the lithic assemblage from phase A Cucuteni settlement of Hoiseşti. Preliminary report.

Summary/Abstract: We briefly present the location and contemporary environment of the settlement, after which we shortly explain our analysis methods. We then proceed to the presentation, in extension, of the results obtained on two classes of tools: class 1.1.1. (which consists of blades with straight plan of the edge, unretouched, with an edge angle between 15-45 degrees) and class 1.1.2. (which consists of blades with straight plan of the edge, unretouched, with an edge angle between 45-75 degrees).
